The Importance of Intuition
I'm obsessed with music and grew up in Chicago surrounded by jazz musicians. My father, who is 84 years old, still plays in a band at an Irish pub every Monday night. He inspires me to improve my own musical skills. My biggest pet peeve is people who patronize others. On the investment side, I avoid following the crowd and prefer contrarian approaches. One mistake I've learned from is ignoring my intuition and listening to others instead. Trusting my intuition is like gold.
