And you describe that you really found in the pure land buddhism tradition, that they believed that there were two forces at work in human life, and they weren't good and evil. Clark Strand is an American author and lecturer on spirituality and religion. He is a former Zen Buddhist monk and was the first Senior Editor of Tricycle: The Buddhist Review.
