NOTE

The Benefits of Deep Breathing Exercise

Deep breathing exercises stimulate the barosympathetic system and make it more active. This exercise aims to suppress the sympathetic system, which is responsible for the body's stress response. By practicing deep breathing at a specific frequency, typically around six cycles or breaths per minute, the barosympathetic system is stimulated. Inhaling and exhaling over 10 seconds for six times in one minute is the recommended technique. The exhale is typically slightly longer than the inhale to activate the parasympathetic system. Deep breathing exercises have a positive impact on the body's relaxation and stress reduction.
