The Stag Part Is Harder
I think it's going to be a long time before we see the Fed's target of 2% inflation. The stag part, I would say, is a little bit harder. Every cycle has a period of stagflation because inflation is a lagging indicator. We have to differentiate that out from something that's more secular.
