Seeking Autonomy and Freedom in Work

In the traditional work setup, individuals are conditioned to follow strict rules and regulations set by their bosses or corporations. This lack of autonomy and freedom can lead to a desire for escapism, often manifesting in behaviors like excessive drinking. True freedom is found in being self-sufficient, whether through owning a business, selling a product, or engaging in art. Most people in the current culture do not have this level of freedom, as they are accustomed to having rules dictated to them in exchange for making a living.
