Unity in Action: Collaborative Power for AI in Education
A coalition of five influential organizations in education technology—co.org, ETS, Isti, Khan Academy, and the World Economic Forum—has been formed to address the complexities of AI policy in education. This coalition emerged in response to numerous inquiries from various education stakeholders regarding the implementation of AI. Recognizing the necessity for collaboration, these organizations joined forces to leverage their individual expertise and ensure that they were not addressing these challenges in isolation. The coalition is further strengthened by an advisory committee of over 90 organizations, including major tech companies like Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, Meta, and Amazon, alongside key education policy organizations. This collaborative effort aims to guide and influence AI policies that affect the educational landscape.
