The Debt of Prostitution

Chinese immigrants are often smuggled into the United States and end up working in labor trafficking, prostitution, or on marijuana farms. They are vulnerable to exploitation by organized crime and constantly reminded of the debt they owe for being smuggled in. These immigrants endure horrible conditions but are afraid to speak up because they rely on these jobs to send money back home to their families.
