The Minimalists

NOTE

The Freedom of Choicelessness

In 2018, I started traveling with a carry on bag, but soon realized I had too much stuff. I was asking the wrong question, focusing on what could fit instead of what I actually needed. Carrying everything I owned became heavy, so I switched to a 40 liter backpack. Still, I had too much stuff. Learning to hand wash my clothes allowed me to downsize to a day pack. I'm now working my way down to a tote bag, embracing the freedom of choicelessness. I consider myself a hunter gatherer, adapting to each environment and letting go of what I no longer need. It's an evolution from the capsule wardrobe concept, as life's unpredictability requires flexibility.
