Language models and their ability to generate and explain theories
Language models have the ability to generate theories, refine them, and offer suggestions. They can also discuss and reason about complex statistical models. The loop of using language models in conjunction with statistical engines and human or machine learning agents can lead to new insights and tests. Unlike statistical models, language models understand concepts like greed and fear, making them more well-rounded. This is a big deal and a radical difference in the field of AI.
