Act with Urgency and Strategic Patience
Leaders are urged to act decisively by focusing on making decisions with the information at hand without unnecessary delays. While having a bias for action is essential, it is equally critical to exercise strategic patience in certain situations. Strategic patience does not imply inaction but rather the ability to understand the right timing for action. Examples of when strategic patience is key include when developing people, managing changes, building relationships, and pushing boundaries.
