Aristotelian hylomorphism

The Cartesian view of knowing is that you are aware of your thoughts. But the way they relate to the world is uncertain, right? That's contrasted with a hylomorphic view where what it is to know know an object or know the world, is to share its form. And so in sharing the form of the object, i i know the object, right? The difference between this and the cartesian view is, rather than knowing, the idea might not correspond to the world.
