The Importance of Avoiding Direct Aggression for Women
It is important for women to not be directly aggressive in order to ensure their own survival and the survival of their offspring. Anne Campbell's theory called it 'staying alive' and explained that historically, if women were injured or killed in physical battles, their offspring would not survive. In some parts of the world, infant survival is closely tied to maternal survival. Women need to prioritize their health and wellbeing and avoid fighting. Men, on the other hand, are more physically resilient and can tolerate being hit in the head.
