A Shift from Growth Mindset to Mastery Focus in Education
A focus on mastery is appealing because it goes beyond just a growth mindset and effort. The obsession with growth mindset may have detracted from the importance of mastery in education. The growth mindset literature highlights the value of effort in achieving mastery.
