Parental Influence and the Development of Character
Raising children is not entirely within our control as parents. While we can create a positive environment for them to develop good character traits, ultimately they make their own choices. As my own children have become adults, I've observed that certain aspects of their personalities were shaped by the opportunities we provided, but their decisions were their own. Fear and compulsion may influence their behavior temporarily, but true virtue comes from their own free choice.
