Intellectual freedom is important, but it can leave one sterile and devoid of consequences. Knowledge and learning should serve life and not be the ultimate goal. Participating in the world through actions such as procreation, creativity, building strong character, and being politically relevant is more important than simply reading and gaining knowledge.
