The Importance of Trusting in Jesus and Abiding in Scripture
We trust in the Bible because of Jesus, who came back from the dead and taught the Bible. As followers of Jesus, our aim is to obey scripture and abide in Jesus. Abiding in Jesus means letting his words, ideas, truth, love, and wisdom flow through our minds all day long. Our apprenticeship to Jesus begins in our minds, curating our thoughts and guarding against opposing ideologies. We must also guide our minds into truth by living in scripture.
