Parker's Pensées

NOTE

Achieving General Intelligence Beyond Human Level

The concept of general intelligence goes beyond human capabilities, particularly in achieving complex goals and navigating uncertain environments. Traditional definitions of general intelligence surpass human abilities, as humans are often limited in complex problem-solving and understanding multi-dimensional spaces. It is feasible to develop systems with higher levels of general intelligence than humans within the confines of the known laws of physics, and even more so once AGI revises these laws. AI systems currently exceed human capabilities in certain aspects, indicating the potential for building human-level AGI systems. Additionally, artificial superintelligence (ASI) systems are envisioned to greatly surpass human-level intelligence.
