How the Seltzer Sink Pump can Prevent Hurricanes
The concept of the Seltzer sink is to use giant plastic bags as pumps to decrease the temperature of water in order to prevent hurricanes. By creating paths of cold water in the ocean, hurricanes could be defanged or potentially stopped altogether. Despite demonstrating its effectiveness through computational and empirical work, there was no interest in this innovative solution.
