Misconceptions about Testosterone and Sexual Behavior

Misconceptions about human biology exist, and testosterone seems to be a highly misunderstood area. There is an interesting story regarding castration versus non-castration and sexual behavior. Behaviors such as aggression and sexual behavior can increase testosterone, but the reverse is not necessarily true. Fluctuations in testosterone levels have essentially zero effect on the brain's sensitivity. Aggression raising testosterone is a great footnote.
