Social isolation takes various forms such as having fewer friends, spending more time on screens, and working from home. As social beings, interacting with others brings us the most happiness. This is a dangerous moment for the human race, especially Americans. While government intervention may have limitations, we need an honest conversation about loneliness and how government decisions can help people connect and make the country happier.
