Different Perspectives on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is viewed differently by different perspectives. While the Holocaust makes it a difficult subject to discuss for some, Palestinians see the horrors inflicted by Europe on its own citizens during World War II, not as their own. They point out the genocidal practices were not Palestinian ideologies but European. The events of 1967 marked a new phase in the Palestinian national liberation struggle, yet these events also justified the occupation of 78% of historic Palestine by Zionists in 1948.
