The Illusion of Free Will

In cases where split-brain patients with two independent hemispheres exist, the left hemisphere demonstrates an illusion of free will, acting as if it is making deliberate decisions and explaining its actions instinctively. This phenomenon raises the question of whether our decisions are made before we consciously realize them, suggesting that we might just be 'along for the ride' in our daily lives, with an interpreter constantly at work in our brains.
