Adrenaline dominance is prevalent in a significant portion of the population, with a strong genetic component where if one or both parents have increased adrenaline, the child is likely to have it too. ADHD and increased adrenaline tend to run in families. Creative individuals, such as those in the music and entertainment industries, often have the highest adrenaline levels, leading to a tendency towards substance abuse. This genetic influence on adrenaline levels may explain the correlation seen in creative individuals and their inclination towards using drugs and alcohol.
