Politics and the Problem of Fear

Politics and the way we relate to each other are deeply affected by the fear that everyone experiences but cannot openly express. The concept of 'snowflake' in politics reflects the desire for the freedom to speak and act without fear. It's ironic that those who are often labeled as snowflakes are the ones most upset about limitations on speech or incidents on college campuses. In politics, we often resort to sanitized and cerebral language to avoid confronting our true emotions. For instance, saying 'I'm stressed' when we actually feel sad or scared provides a safer outlet. Understanding and acknowledging this fear is crucial for genuine political engagement.
