Overcoming Fear and Trusting Others
The speaker initially felt scared about others starting chapters because their creation was deeply personal and they were afraid that the spirit of the chapter wouldn't be maintained. They were concerned about the reflection it would have on them. However, they realized that trust breeds magic and that if they set people up right and did their homework, they could trust the people who asked to start chapters. These were people who were in service of the community and showed up in a positive way. In the end, the speaker leaned into the discomfort, trusted others, and embraced the unknown.
