Treating Metrics Like a Product and Starting with MVP
Metrics should be treated like a product, starting with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) rather than trying to include every metric of interest. Door metrics comprise four key, industry-standard benchmarks, simplifying understanding and implementation. While these metrics may present challenges in taking action due to the amount of underlying data they encompass, they serve as a foundation for improvement. By focusing on the key drivers and using industry-standard research data, a solid foundation is established for further development.
