i'll give you a story that is often attributed to malzadong, although no one i know has ever been able to actually authenticate it. When mister tanaka visited bejing at the reopening of japan, china ar dipplomatic relations which were sourt have kept on a very low level through much of the cold war. And tanaka, who had been a quite young soldier in china during world war too, apologized to mau,. saying, you know, he was very sorry that japan had invaded china. If you japanese hadn't invaded china, we communists would never have come to power.
