i'll give you a story that is often attributed to malzadong, although no one i know has ever been able to actually authenticate it. And tanaka, who had been a quite young soldier in china during world war too, apologized to mau,. saying, you know, he was very sorry that japan had invaded china. If you japanese hadn't invaded china, we communists would never have come to power.
