The Cost of Overtraining

Training should be enjoyable and in a flow state to reach mastery. Consistency is key over intensity, as intense workouts should be occasional. Going at maximum intensity daily is unsustainable as there is a cost to reaching one's maximum effort. Intensity requires breaks as true maximum effort means no reserves left. Overtraining is real, as pushing past one's limits constantly is not sustainable and can lead to burnout or injury.
