In order to have a successful conversation, there are three key points to remember. First, be prepared. Second, be personable and focus on your tone. Lastly, be present and give your full attention to the person you're speaking with. One useful rule to improve your listening with presence is the 75% to 25% rule. Many times, people tend to dominate conversations by constantly talking or selling their ideas. So, it's crucial to listen attentively and allow the other person to speak.
