When you're predicting well, your experience is constructed by your brain completely.

Your brain predicts sensations based on past experiences. When sensory signals reach the brain and confirm predictions, they don't go any further. Only unexpected signals lead to learning and become compressed. This process is called a controlled hallucination, as described by philosopher Andy Clark.
