In big companies like Netflix, a significant amount of effort is devoted to developing and maintaining internal tools and logging systems to ensure productivity, efficiency, and system stability. Managing tasks such as debugging, releasing software, and dealing with logging data involves complex trade-offs between flexibility, cost, storage, and speed.
