Programming our intuition enables us to naturally perceive and evaluate situations, leading to better decision-making. However, it takes time to develop this intuition. Our decisions are often influenced by bias and heuristics, causing us to miss potential threats and misjudge situations. Managing bias is crucial for effective decision-making. When immediate action is required, following intuition, especially for personal safety, is generally the right call, with minimal downsides. Conversely, when time allows, deliberative thinking results in better decisions than relying solely on gut instinct.
