Focusing visual attention on a small window of the screen increases visual acuity and activates brain areas associated with gathering information from that location. Practising visual focus improves the ability to concentrate. Wearing corrective lenses is fine, as long as the visual image is clear. Blinking is a natural response to tiredness and helps reset perception of time. However, maintaining focus by blinking less and directing visual attention to a specific spot can enhance concentration.
