Napping has proven benefits such as increased alertness, improved cognitive performance, and reduced sleepiness. When caffeine was added to a nap, there was a further enhancement in benefits, albeit not as significant as the nap alone. Additional elements like cold hand and face washing and exposure to bright light also added to the benefits of napping. Combining all elements like a nap, caffeine, cold hand and face washing, and bright light may have additive benefits, resulting in a supercharged state.
