The Differentiation Perspective on AI Sales Tools

Searching for AI sales tools on Product Hunt can be overwhelming due to the abundance of options. Many vendors offer similar products as it is a popular use case. However, the key to differentiation lies in determining how much of the task can be accomplished by going straight to the LLM. If most of the job can be done with the LLM alone, it may not be a unique product. On the other hand, if there are additional workflows or data required, it can be more defensible. The most interesting AI tools are those that focus on the back-end data stitching and normalization, rather than just producing email content. These tools can then incorporate simplified email generation on top, which may be less flashy but more sustainable in the long run. Summarization, for example, can be directly obtained from the LLM, making it an important aspect for AI sales founders.
