Another challenge is that Aquara supports only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so if the Wi-Fi broadcasts both 2 and 5 GHz, the Android setup may not detect it. A workaround is to temporarily disable the 5 GHz network. Using an iPhone and HomeKit seems to be the easiest path for a quick setup, although other solutions like setting up a temporary AP on the phone running at 2.4 GHz can also work. However, integrating it with Home Assistant might still pose some challenges.
