Challenging the Status Quo with Ideology and Mass Movement

The current political figures like Biden, Harris, Buttigieg, and Klobuchar are seen as empty suits, opportunistic careerists who pose no threat to the status quo because they lack real ideology and are safe choices for the elite. To challenge the status quo, there needs to be figures with strong ideology, backed by a mass movement, and a willingness to make enemies. The fear is not just Bernie Sanders' social democracy, but also the rising demands among younger voters for universal healthcare, an end to Israel aid, higher taxes on corporations and the wealthy, more regulations, and action on climate change.
