Consumers are more attracted to smartphones with unique designs rather than those with better battery life. A desire exists for high battery capacity in compact phone sizes similar to standard smartphones, or even with significantly larger capacity. The concept of never having to charge a phone is considered epic, although futuristic tech ideals rarely focus on infinite battery life. Weight plays a role in perceived premium quality, where heavier smartphones are often associated with higher quality and value.
