The Pilot Project Podcast

NOTE

The Phase Two Course

In approximately 80 hours of flight training, you will learn four types of flying: clear hood, instrument procedures, low level navigation, and formation flying. Clear hood involves flying visually with reference to the ground. You will also develop your cross check and basic instrument flying knowledge. The training includes two initial tests, followed by continuous training until completion of one phase. After that, you will start the low level navigation phase, which also has a test. Similarly, formation flying has a test at the end. In total, there are six tests to complete. The duration of the training varies and depends on individual progress.
