Plant Consciousness

The idea of plant consciousness has been around since the late sixties. It was popularised by trophim lisenco, a soviet scientist who thought plants had memories. But he came up with some dodgy scientific conclusions which were completely incorrect. And it is really responsible for a lot of the famines of the forties and 50 in the soviet union. He's possibly responsible for millions of deaths.
