Do We Need to Subsidize Car Use?

Brian Taylor is a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research shows that when low income households get access to automobiles, all sorts of good things happen. He says if we properly priced automobile use, the need to subsidize transit would go down and demand for public transport would go up.
