Consuming less and being eco-friendly can lead to greater happiness as the key to happiness is not material possessions. By consuming less, we produce less waste, which is a by-product of minimalism. One can buy things that amplify life experiences and do not pollute the planet, thus leading to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
