Focusing on fewer, more deliberate books rather than trying to read a high volume helps in retaining and applying information effectively. The abundance of information available can become a cognitive burden, making it essential to optimize the reading process. It's important to recognize that reading a large number of books may not equate to gaining deep knowledge, as the sheer volume of published books makes it impossible to scratch beyond the surface.
