Progressive Evolution of Divorce Rights

Throughout history, women have faced challenges regarding property rights and divorce. In the United States, women only gained property rights recently and had to prove infidelity to get a divorce until 1970. No-fault divorce, allowing divorce without cause, was introduced in the US in the Reagan era and in the UK in 1969. Surprisingly, the Quran and Sunnah introduced no-fault divorce for both men and women even before Western countries.
