Parsing Natural Language
The process of parsing natural language involves two main phases - lexical analysis and parsing. Lexical analysis consists of transforming a string of characters into a string of words or tokens. Tokens can represent keywords, identifiers, or punctuation. Parsing, akin to diagramming sentences, identifies the grammatical structure within the sequence of words, creating a tree-like structure for better understanding.
