ADHD and Creativity Research
The epiphany came when I started looking at research on creativity outside of the realm of ADHD. What these researchers around creativity were describing were so many of the qualities that I saw in myself and other ADHD people but they were describing them in non-pathological ways. That's sort of when I started to make the realization that like there's these two separate worlds of research and two separate paradigms. One is about creativity and later I came to think of it as also about design and this other world where neurodivergent people are getting pathologized and they're not talking to each other.
