In science and companies, there exists a hierarchy where seniority matters. However, it's crucial to create a culture where the most junior person can overrule the most senior person if they have data. This can be achieved by setting up little things, such as allowing the most junior person to speak last in meetings, to encourage a data-driven decision-making process.
