Playing in the Sphere and the Emotional Experience

The idea of playing in the Fear was suggested by Bono about two years ago after hearing about the custom-built venue called the sphere in Las Vegas./nThe sphere is a multipurpose venue with a high-definition 16K screen and a great sound system for the band./nPerforming in the sphere with the combination of imagery and music in good quality reproduction creates an overwhelming and emotional experience for the audience./nThe band initially started performing in clubs where there was intimacy and audience participation, and now they have returned to that kind of environment with the sphere shows./nThe band initially committed to 24 shows in the sphere but the number has increased to 36 and may even go higher.
