The Importance of Listening to Your Boss

When given instructions by your boss, it's important to have a good relationship and some flexibility. As long as you reach the desired outcome, it's okay to deviate from the exact instructions sometimes. However, in rare cases, it's important to communicate and listen to each other. Trust and a willingness to listen are essential components of a relationship. Pushing back every time isn't the solution. Often, the problem lies with our own egos, not our bosses.
