The Top Foods That Leave Us Feeling Hungry and Cause Us to Overeat with Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt

Dhru Purohit Show

NOTE

The Protein Leverage Hypothesis

Two professors called Robin Haberin Simson have studied the protein leverage hypothesis./nHumans and animals eat for two main reasons: to obtain necessary nutrients and to acquire energy./nThe nutrients that our bodies require for building are primarily protein and vitamins./nEnergy, needed for movement and thinking, comes from carbohydrates and fat./nHumans and animals tend to eat until they reach a certain amount of nutrients, especially protein./nEating nutrient-diluted food (which is mostly carbohydrates and fat) requires consuming larger quantities of both nutrients and energy to meet our needs./nOur food supply has become nutrient-diluted due to the addition of sugar and oil./nThe dilution of nutrients and protein in processed foods forces us to consume more energy in order to obtain the necessary nutrients./nThis phenomenon contributes to the theory of satiety and is considered a significant factor.
